Kris Anfuso

Field Trip Instructor at Chicago Botanic Garden

Kris Anfuso has a diverse work experience history. They started their career in 2001 as an associate teacher at Baker Demonstration School. In this role, they gained experience and knowledge in the field of education. From 2005 to 2011, Kris worked in District 69 as a 3rd-grade teacher, where they developed innovative lessons utilizing technology and designed inquiry-based lessons to promote critical thinking. Following this, they worked as an Arts & Culture Intern at the Chicago Children's Museum in 2012. In 2013, Kris joined the Chicago Botanic Garden as a Field Trip Instructor and also became a Program Facilitator at Historic Wagner Farm, where they played a vital role in educating and facilitating programs. Kris has also worked as a freelance Education Consultant since 2011, providing their expertise in the education field.

Kris Anfuso obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree in Education from National Louis University between 2002 and 2005.
