VP of Senior Services at CHICAGO COMMONS ASSOCIATION

Erica Woodley, MBA joined Chicago Commons in 2022 with more than 20 years of experience overseeing client service programs that support seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and individuals experiencing mental health challenges. A key accomplishment of her career was developing a program that allowed individuals with developmental disabilities, who were over age 60, remain in their home instead of having to be admitted to long term care facilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Erica successfully utilized technology to create a system that allowed clients to remain connected to their loved ones while sheltering in place. In her past roles in the nonprofit and for-profit arenas, Erica served on several committees that were instrumental in ensuring all clients received person-centered community-based services. As a strong advocate for client rights, she also served as a member of the Human Rights Authority of Illinois for several years. Erica earned a BS in Psychology from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
