Marion Batey is an experienced professional with a diverse background in workforce development and marketing research. Currently serving as a Business Relations Specialist at the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership since July 2013, Marion coordinates employer services and job placement initiatives. As President and CEO of A+ Marketing Research, which has been operational since 1995, Marion specializes in quantitative and qualitative research, target marketing, and audience development for clients at various levels. Previously, Marion held the role of Deputy Finance Director for Toni Preckwinkle's campaign for Cook County Board President from 2009 to 2012, where a finance plan was successfully implemented to raise over $3,250,000. Educational credentials include attendance at Loyola University Chicago.

The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) is a non-profit umbrella organization operating the public workforce system for the City of Chicago and Cook County. The Partnership combines federal and philanthropic resources to provide comprehensive workforce development services to employers and job seekers. As the largest public workforce development system in the nation, The Partnership has helped place more than 70,000 individuals in employment; collaborated with more than 2,000 employers; and administered more than $400 million in federal and philanthropic funds. The Partnership’s network consists of 90+ community-based organizations, American Job Centers, satellite sites and sector-driven centers, serving more than 140,000 people annually.
