Fay Hartog-Levin serves as a Distinguished Fellow at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and holds the position of Trustee at The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation since May 2016. Since January 2012, Fay has acted as a Strategic Advisor at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and served as a Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School from March 2014 to June 2017, teaching a course on State Social Policy in the Federal Government. Fay's diplomatic experience includes serving as Ambassador to the Netherlands from May 2009 to October 2011, overseeing a mission with 250 employees and 15 federal agencies. Additionally, Fay was the VP of External Relations at The Field Museum from 1996 to 2005, focusing on government liaison, community outreach, and public services. Legal expertise was established in the role of Of Counsel at Seyfarth Shaw from 1982 to 1995, representing educational institutions. Fay Hartog-Levin holds a Bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature from Northwestern University and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
