Tamra Armour

Director, People Operations at Chicago CRED

As the Director of People Operations, Tamra Armour oversees the strategy and execution of people programs for the entire organization. She is responsible for providing strategic and operational support for all HR-related matters to leadership, managers, and employees, and maintains ownership of CRED’s approach to core HR policies and processes, career development, performance management, health and wellness, compliance, benefits, payroll, HRIS, systems and tools, analytics, and diversity and inclusion.

Tamra Armour was most recently the Director of Human Resources at The Night Ministry where she was responsible for partnering with leadership to implement programs that reinforce culture, support employees, organizational performance, and professional growth. Tamra led all aspects of HR operations including leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, HRIS, payroll and benefits administration. Prior to The Night Ministry, Tamra held positions in the corporate and non–profit sectors and worked as a consultant. She has over 12 years in the non-profit sector.

Tamra holds a BA from DePaul University, School of Professional and Continuing Studies as well as multiple certifications from Northwestern Kellogg in Non-Profit Management, Human Capital, Organizational Leadership, Design and Strategy.
