Dr. Michael Friedman

Medical Director at Chicago ENT

Dr. Michael Friedman's work experience includes being a Professor and Chairman of Sleep Surgery at Rush University Medical Center since 2008. In this role, they present clinical research in sleep medicine at national and international forums and directs research fellows and students in evidence-based medicine. Prior to this, they served as the Medical Director at Chicago ENT - Advanced Center for Specialty Care starting in 1980. Before that, they worked in the Department of Otolaryngology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center beginning in 1979. Dr. Friedman also held positions at Rush University Medical Center, including being the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology and Bronchoesophagology from 1995 to 2007 and Associate Professor and Chairman of Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology from 1991 to 1995.

Dr. Michael Friedman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Medicine from Yeshiva University, from 1964 to 1968. Dr. Michael then pursued their medical studies at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, obtaining their MD degree from 1968 to 1972.
