Janet Myrmel has a diverse work experience in the field of creative design and marketing. Janet began their career as a Senior Designer at Twin Cities Public Television in 1995, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they served as an Art Director at KQED. In 2006, they joined Chicago Event Management as a Design Manager and worked their way up to becoming a Creative Director in 2013. In this role, Janet managed multiple sporting events, overseeing creative staff and vendors, establishing budgets, and maintaining brand standards. Janet also collaborated with copywriters, sponsorship teams, and industry peers to deliver successful marketing strategies. In 2015, Janet was promoted to Director of Marketing, Communications, and Creative, where they continued to lead marketing efforts, manage projects, and maintain brand standards. In their most recent role, starting in 2020, they serve as the Senior Creative Director, responsible for overseeing marketing, design, and signage departments, managing projects, leading brainstorming sessions, and designing and maintaining the company website and social media presence.
