Michael Clemons

Michael Clemons is currently the Director of Operations at Running USA, where responsibilities include planning and coordinating the annual industry conference. As a Ph.D. student at the University of Louisville, Michael is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Sport Administration. Michael is also the owner of Louisville Running Company, which provides event support for local and national running races. Additional experience includes serving as a Shred415 instructor, a Finish Line Manager for Chicago Event Management, and a Logistics Team Manager for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22. Michael previously held the role of Race Director at the Louisville Sports Commission, overseeing multiple notable running events, and has experience in event planning from JAM Active and sport operations management with the Mid-South Conference. Michael holds a Master's degree in Sport Administration and a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Spanish, and Political Science.
