Adam Paradis is an experienced A/V technician with a diverse background in film and exhibition management. Since October 2019, Adam has worked at the Art Institute of Chicago, overseeing A/V equipment installation and maintenance across galleries, as well as ensuring the functionality of 16mm exhibitions for the Andy Warhol exhibit. Additional roles include contributions at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, where Adam assists in gallery preparation and exhibition maintenance, and projectionist positions at various film centers, managing digital and analog film formats while collaborating with filmmakers and curatorial staff. Adam also has a technical directing background at the Chicago Underground Film Festival and experience as a production assistant and studio assistant, showcasing a long-standing commitment to the arts and technical excellence in exhibition and film environments. Adam holds a Master's degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Studio Arts Diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
