Emily Ackerman

Emily Ackerman possesses extensive experience in business management and editorial roles, currently serving as the Business Manager and Managing Editor at Chicago Gallery News since August 2017. In this position, Emily oversees sales operations, design, marketing, and client management. Prior to this, Emily held the roles of Business Supervisor and Senior Editor at the same organization and gained valuable experience as an Administrative Intern at TransUnion, where responsibilities included assisting in proposal writing and sales operations. Additional experience includes internships in client services at Collective Bias and communications at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art, Criticism, and Analysis from DePaul University.
