Stephan Bakowski has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Lieutenant at the Chicago Heights Police Department since October 2005. Bakowski has held various positions within the department, including Patrol Sergeant, Detective, and Patrolman. Additionally, Bakowski worked as an Investigator for the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force from August 2014 to April 2017. Educationally, Bakowski obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a focus on Pre-Law from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2000 and 2004.
