Mark Pesavento

Mark Pesavento is an experienced physical education teacher currently serving at Chicago Heights School District 170 since August 2013. Initially focused on media classes from 2013 to 2022, Mark has expanded to teaching physical education to diverse student populations, including those with special needs. Mark has held multiple roles, including PLC Facilitator for Educational Media Clerks and Business Professionals of America advisor. As an Assistant Athletic Director, Mark coordinated district soccer tournaments and supervised athletic events. Previous experience includes teaching business and technology at Bloom Township District 206 and serving as a financial representative. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Education with a Coaching Endorsement from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Purdue University Northwest.
