Abdiel Ortega

Abdiel Ortega is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data integrity and systems analysis, currently serving as a Senior Data Integrity Analyst at the Chicago Housing Authority since November 1998. In this role, Abdiel acts as a liaison between Asset Management and ITS Departments, ensuring compliance of the Yardi property management software with both the authority's needs and HUD requirements. Prior to this position, Abdiel was a Systems Analyst, where responsibilities included coordinating with various users and departments to enhance reporting and data collection. Abdiel's career began as a Computer Operator at CTC Services Inc., overseeing report generation and system backups, following service in the US Army Reserve, where responsibilities included supply cataloging and supervising training. Abdiel is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Northeastern Illinois University, building on an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science obtained from Wilbur Wright College.
