Christopher Chavez

Christopher Chavez has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Christopher worked at the Chicago Housing Authority as the Director of Planning & Data Analytics. Prior to that, they held roles at the Chicago Public Schools, where they were the Data and Evaluation Manager and later became the Data Strategist for the Office of Early Childhood Education. Christopher also worked at SGA Youth & Family Services as the Manager of Evaluation and Research, and previously as an Evaluation Associate. Additionally, Christopher worked at the University of Chicago as the Program Coordinator for the Office of Health Promotion & Wellness. Before that, they served as an Administrator at The Family Defense Center, a Building Manager at the University of Chicago, and as an intern at the Chicago Justice Project. Christopher also gained experience as an Economic Development Assistant at Greater Southwest Development Corporation and as an intern in the Family Violence Intervention Program at Metropolitan Family Services.

Christopher Chavez completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the same institution, from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic achievements, Christopher Chavez obtained a certification as a Licensed Social Worker from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in October 2014.
