Manny Guzman

Manny Guzman has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in law enforcement and security. Currently serving as a District Coordination Sergeant at the Chicago Police Department since January 2022, Manny supervises a team focused on community problem-solving and crime reduction. Previous roles at the Chicago Police Department include various positions such as Police Officer, Tactical Officer, and Gang Officer, spanning nearly two decades. Concurrently, Manny holds a position as Police Sergeant and Tactical Team Sergeant at the Chicago Park District and has been a Security Supervisor at R & R SECURITY SERVICES since 2008, providing bodyguard services and managing security for high-profile events. Additional experience includes managerial roles in the nightlife industry, retail sales management, and military service as a Combat Engineer and Spanish Linguist in the US Army. Educational achievements include an Associate of Arts degree in Photography from Wilbur Wright College and a Certificate in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
