Anna Mason

Anna Mason currently serves as a YOUmedia Library Associate in Teen Services at the Chicago Public Library, where responsibilities include managing a multimedia lab and leading teen programming. Previous roles encompass a range of experiences, including a YOUmedia Mentor at City Bureau and a Freelance Documenter, where Anna reported on local government events. Significant contributions were made as a Community Engagement Coordinator for the Studs Terkel Radio Archive at WTTW/Chicago PBS and WFMT, where Anna led educational initiatives and created a consortium of media archives. Additional roles include producing for CNN, organizing for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, and interning with the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Tufts University and is pursuing a Master of Library & Information Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
