Joe Burton

Joe Burton is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in various fields. Currently serving as a Library Associate at the Chicago Public Library since April 2019, Joe focuses on early literacy and outreach, assisting young children, teens, and their parents in discovering suitable and engaging reading materials. As the Founder and Executive Director of Bughouse Theater since August 2007, Joe takes on multiple roles, including web master, actor, improviser, writer, and musician, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Joe previously worked as a Market Research Analyst at IBM from January 2001 to September 2002. Educationally, Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Biology from Chicago State University.
