Tony Smith

Tony Smith currently serves as a Library Associate at Chicago Public Library, with experience at Woodson Regional and Sulzer Regional. In addition, Tony holds the position of Operations Lead at Starbucks Reserve Bar, overseeing the experiential bar and inventory operations. Previously, Tony was an Event Manager at Paramount Events, acting as a liaison and managing a Front of House team, and also served as an Assistant to the Vice President of Finance. Tony has experience as an Events Director at Hope For The Day, executing numerous local and national events, and as a Communications Intern, enhancing online engagement. Earlier roles include President and Vice President of Marketing for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at UIC. Tony is pursuing a Master of Library & Information Science at Dominican University, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from the University of Illinois Chicago.
