Amy Dusto

Amy Dusto is an experienced curriculum developer currently contributing to Chicago Public Schools since January 2022. Dusto has a diverse writing background, with freelance work since 2008, including contributions to notable publications such as Johns Hopkins Magazines and Climate. Previous roles include high school science teaching positions at WESTINGHOUSE COLLEGE PREP and Collins Academy High School, along with a resident science teacher role at AUSL. Dusto has also held editorial and writing positions at The Internet Retailer, US LHC, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, showcasing expertise in science communication and education. Dusto holds multiple degrees from The Johns Hopkins University and National Louis University, culminating in a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education.
