Amy Niederberger Weiss, Ed.S., NBCT, is an experienced educator with a diverse background in literacy and bilingual education. Currently serving as a Manager of Elementary Literacy and MTSS at Chicago Public Schools since 2009, Amy has taken on various roles, including K-8 & Bilingual Literacy Specialist and Dual Language Coordinator. Amy is also a member of Bonfire since October 2022. Previously, Amy contributed to Teach For America as a Content Community Leader and Coach for National English Language Learners and Bilingual Community, where support was provided to Corps Members in improving ESL and bilingual teaching practices. Additional experience includes positions as an Academic Interventionist and Kindergarten Teacher, combined with a strong educational foundation featuring a Master's in ESL and Bilingual Education from Dominican University and an Education Specialist degree from National Louis University.
