Brenda Williams

Brenda Williams is an experienced education professional with a strong background in various educational roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving at Chicago Public Schools since August 2019, Brenda previously held positions at EdisonLearning as a Special Education Specialist and Camelot Education as an Executive Director and Principal. In these roles, Brenda focused on developing inclusive educational strategies, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and fostering collaborative environments among staff and students. Brenda's earlier experience includes serving as a Curriculum Specialist and Assistant Principal at Ada S. McKinley Community Services and teaching at the high school level. Brenda holds multiple Master's degrees in Secondary Education, Adult and Continuing Education, and Educational Leadership, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
