Dalton Day

Dalton Day is an experienced educator and entrepreneur currently serving as a Resident Teacher and Guest Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and a Continuing Education Lecturer at City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College. In addition, Dalton operates Buck's Honey Bees, LLC since August 2022 and has held the position of Notary Public for the Illinois Secretary of State since 2014. Engagements also include serving as a Delegate for the Chicago Teachers Union and an Instructor at Loyola University Chicago. Previous roles encompass various teaching positions in numerous schools and districts, including long-term and substitute teaching experiences. Dalton holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science/Master of Library Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in French and Francophone Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University Chicago and additional certifications in beekeeping and French language studies. Ongoing education includes a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University, set to conclude in May 2025.
