Dr. Christopher Graves

Dr. Christopher Graves, Ed. D., CSBO, currently serves as Principal at Chicago Public Schools, having previously held the position of Assistant Principal at Curie Metro High School, where a focus on improving vertical alignment in fine arts and athletics, along with community engagement, was prioritized. Dr. Graves participated in the Emerging Leaders Program with the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and engaged with the Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools Program in November 2024. With a robust background in education, Dr. Graves has held various roles including Director of Academic Success at Learnmetrics, Resident Principal with New Leaders for New Schools, and music educator in several institutions. Dr. Graves holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Education from Illinois State University and a Master’s in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
