Georgina Mendoza-Chavez

Georgina Mendoza-Chavez serves as the Web and Digital Content Manager at Chicago Public Schools since April 2015, overseeing the Employee Intranet that supports over 40,000 employees through the Optimizely Content Management System. Responsibilities include managing a web content specialist and copywriter, improving user experience, executing web content strategies, conducting audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance and optimize digital content. Prior to this role, Georgina worked as a Web and Social Media Content Developer at Adler Planetarium from November 2010 to March 2015, focusing on site management and content development to increase brand awareness and attendance. Georgina began a career in real estate as an Assistant Manager at Pronto Realty from May 1999 to February 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Design and Development and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology, both from DeVry University.
