Nestor D. Rico

Nestor D. Rico is an experienced educational leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as the owner of Rico Trucking & Logistics since May 2021, which builds on over 30 years of combined family experience in the trucking industry. In addition, Nestor has been a Dean of Students and Athletic Director at Chicago Public Schools since July 2016, while also coaching boys varsity soccer at John Hancock High School. Nestor has held various coaching roles, including Assistant Soccer Coach at Governors State University and Director of Coaching at Chicago City Soccer Club. Nestor's prior experience includes overseeing soccer programs at Noble Network of Charter Schools and working as an Athletic Coordinator at Chicago Park District. Nestor's academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and Sport Management from Loyola University Chicago.
