Russ Legear

Russ Legear is an experienced IT professional specializing in access and identity management. Currently serving as the Access and Identity Management Team Lead at Chicago Public Schools since July 2013, Russ manages the Active Directory and Messaging team while developing district-wide strategies for AD, messaging, and collaboration. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Identity Management and Windows Systems Engineer, supporting Google Apps for Education and identity management systems. Previously, Russ worked at Midland Paper as a Windows Server Engineer II and held a position as a Junior Windows Admin/Support. Academic qualifications include dual Bachelor of Letters and Science degrees in English and Computer Science, as well as English with a focus on Creative Writing, both obtained from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh between 1999 and 2004.
