Seth Lavin

Seth Lavin serves as the Principal at Brentano Math & Science Academy within Chicago Public Schools since July 2014. Under Lavin's leadership, the academy emphasizes problem solving, project-based learning, and the holistic development of students. Prior experience includes roles as Resident Principal at The Noble Network of Charter Schools, World History Teacher at Export Now, Chief of Staff at Chicago International Charter School, and 5th Grade Teacher and Department Chair. Lavin's educational background includes a Doctor of Education and a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and American Studies from Georgetown University.
