Vanessa Hernandez

Vanessa Hernandez has extensive experience in administrative and volunteer management roles. Currently serving as Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Chicago Public Schools since April 2018, Vanessa previously held the position of Executive Assistant. Prior to this, Vanessa worked as Volunteer & Operations Manager at Susan G. Komen for the Cure - Chicagoland Area from October 2013 to April 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating the recruitment and training of over 500 volunteers for events, engaging community outreach, and developing volunteer leadership. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center from May 2011 to July 2013. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Robert Morris University - Illinois, graduated in May 2006.
