Emmanuel Salazar

Emmanuel Salazar is an experienced public relations professional currently serving as the Public Relations Manager at the Chicago Red Stars since May 2021, after previously holding the position of Public Relations Specialist. Emmanuel's background includes working as a Press Assistant for Chicago Public Schools and a Part-Time Communications Associate for the Chicago Cubs, where responsibilities included creating and reviewing communications materials. Earlier roles featured a Special Project Assistant position at the Chicago Park District, managing social media content and press materials, along with experiences as a public relations intern at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and a social media intern at Illini Media. Emmanuel holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Latina/o Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
