Karen Leetzow

Karen Leetzow is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as President of the Chicago Red Stars since December 2023. Prior to this role, Karen was Chief Legal Officer at the U.S. Soccer Federation from August 2020 to December 2023. Karen's extensive experience in the legal field includes over two decades at NASCAR, where roles spanned from Assistant General Counsel to Senior Vice President General Counsel. Early in Karen's career, experience at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP entailed trademark litigation and client representation as an Associate. Additionally, Karen served as an Examining Attorney at the USPTO from 1993 to 1998. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Vermont.
