Cynthia Sherry has extensive experience in the publishing industry, having worked at Chicago Review Press since 1996, where roles have included Publisher, Associate Publisher, Editorial Director, Executive Editor, and Senior Editor. Prior to this, Cynthia was employed at Independent Publishers Group from 1992 to 1996 as Controller, and earlier at Chicago Review Press from 1989 to 1992 as Accounts Payable Manager. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Grinnell College, earned between 1984 and 1988.

Chicago Review Press is an independent publishing company founded in 1973. Over the years we have grown into a dynamic midsize publisher with more than 900 titles in print. We currently publish around 60 new annually under five imprints: Chicago Review Press, Lawrence Hill Books, Ball Publishing, Zephyr Press, and Academy Chicago. All Chicago Review Press titles are distributed to the book trade by Independent Publishers Group.
