Julie Reynolds

Julie Reynolds is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in various media roles. Currently serving as Associate Editor at The Imprint News since January 2023, Reynolds is also the co-founder of Voices of Monterey Bay, a nonprofit bilingual online news magazine, since October 2017. In addition to these roles, Reynolds has been the Executive Producer of Gray Area Podcast since June 2016, focusing on themes of justice and redemption. As an author, Reynolds published "Blood in the Fields: Ten Years Inside California's Nuestra Familia Gang" with Chicago Review Press in September 2014. Additionally, Reynolds has contributed as a freelance editor and writer since January 2016, with works featured in notable outlets such as Newsweek and The Nation. Prior experience includes serving as a criminal justice reporter for the Monterey County Herald and teaching as an adjunct professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Reynolds's academic credentials include being a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.
