Karolina Zapal

Karolina Zapal is a versatile professional with extensive experience in program management, education, and the arts. Currently serving as Program Manager and previously as Program Coordinator at the Massachusetts Center for the Book since July 2022, Karolina contributes to the organization's mission of promoting cultural programming that enhances the literary landscape of Massachusetts. Additionally, Karolina has been working as a Copyeditor for Chicago Review Press since April 2019. Past roles include Residential Life Coordinator at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, Artist in Residence at various creative institutions, and Adjunct Instructor at Naropa University. Karolina holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Naropa University and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and Creative Writing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
