Ben Ramos

Benjamin Ramos is an experienced technical director and carpenter with a strong background in scenic design and production management. Currently serving as a Lead Carpenter at Chicago Scenic Studios and an Assistant Technical Director at The Public Theater, Benjamin specializes in drafting, engineering, and managing scenic construction. Previous roles include Technical Director for Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, where responsibilities involved scenery logistics and contracts, and Graduate Assistant for Technical Direction at Indiana University Bloomington, focusing on the construction and management of multiple productions. Benjamin’s extensive experience is complemented by a Master’s degree in Theatre from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Arts from DePauw University.
