Tien Cao

Tien Cao is an experienced metal fabricator and scenic carpenter with a strong background in welding, fabrication, and carpentry. Currently serving as a Metal Fabricator at Chicago Scenic Studios since July 2021, Tien has also worked extensively at Scenic Solutions since August 2009 in various capacities related to scenic carpentry and installation. Previous positions include Director of Fabrication/Shop Foreman at Chicago Flyhouse, Inc., and Metal Fabricator at RedBox Workshop Ltd. Tien's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus on Technical Direction and Sound Technology from Wright State University, completed in 2009.
