Corderius Cowans

Corderius Cowans is an experienced professional with a diverse background in educational leadership, mental health counseling, and alumni engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Postsecondary Leadership Development at Chicago Scholars since 2022, Corderius also functions as a Mental Health Therapist at TMH Behavioral Services, P.C., starting from 2021. Prior roles include Alumni Advisor at KIPP Chicago, where Corderius managed a caseload of over 200 alumni, and Alumni Counselor at Noble Network of Charter Schools. Corderius has a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership at DePaul University. Moreover, Corderius has contributed to various educational initiatives and workshops, demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and mental health advocacy.
