Orr, MA, is currently serving as a Social Services Career Trainee at the Illinois Department of Human Services, where training focuses on managing public assistance cases and client support. With extensive experience in mentorship roles at Chicago Scholars, including peer mentoring and student ambassador responsibilities, Darren has actively supported students’ academic journeys. Prior experience includes a role as a Child Welfare Specialist Trainee at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, facilitating family collaborations and managing case documentation. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Psychology from The Chicago School and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from DePaul University.
