Scott Foley has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott began their career as an Assistant Trainer at Athletic Republic in 2009. From there, they worked as an Assistant Coach for WWSHS Track & Field in 2011. In the same year, they also held roles at Northwestern University as a Customer Services/Program Sales associate and at the Chicago Bears as a Fan Services liaison.

In 2012, Foley transitioned to the fitness industry and worked as a Sales Manager and later as a Full-Time General Manager at Charter Fitness. During their time there, they managed facility operations, expanded the market base, and oversaw sales goals among other responsibilities.

Foley then shifted their focus to the sports industry, starting at the Chicago Wolves Hockey team as a Ticket Sales Representative in 2013. Scott achieved significant sales success and was later promoted to the role of New Membership Consultant and then Senior Membership Consultant at the Atlanta Hawks, where they sold full and partial season ticket memberships and exceeded sales goals.

In 2017, Foley took on the role of Senior Director of Ticket Sales & Corporate Partnerships at the Lincoln Stars hockey team. Responsible for developing sales strategies and managing staff, they successfully increased new season memberships by 211%.

From 2018 to 2022, Foley worked at the Chicago Dogs Baseball team, first as a Ticket Sales Representative and then transitioning to the role of Premium Account Executive and eventually Corporate Sales Manager. During this time, they coached and managed sales staff, generated over $1.2 million in sales, and developed strategies to enhance the gameday experience for corporate clients.

Most recently, Foley held the position of Director of Ticket Sales at Chicago Steel (USHL) starting in 2022. In this role, they are responsible for generating ticket revenue, guiding ticket sales efforts, and creating new group/premium experiences.

Throughout their career, Foley has consistently demonstrated their ability to exceed sales targets, build relationships with clients, and effectively manage teams.

Scott Foley completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management from North Central College, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Robert Morris University from 2007 to 2008, also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management. Before entering college, they attended Wheaton Warrenville South High School. It is not specified if they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during their time at high school. In addition to their education, Foley obtained a certification in Responsible Hospitality Council Management Training from the Responsible Hospitality Council in August 2017.

The Chicago Steel are in their 23rd season in the United States Hockey League (USHL). The organization has been lauded for its on-ice accomplishments and focus on affordable family entertainment since it moved to Geneva, IL in 2015.
