Dave Newbart

Dave Newbart is currently serving as the Interim Managing Editor at Chicago Sun-Times, overseeing coverage of the nation’s third-largest school district. Prior to this role, Dave has held various editorial positions at Chicago Reader, DNAinfo/Chicago, and Chicago Sun-Times. Dave has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Knox College and a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
