Amanda Compton LoPresti is a highly accomplished soprano and music educator with extensive experience in performance and teaching. Since August 2010, Amanda has served as the Soprano I Section Leader for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, participating in significant productions such as Berlioz's Lélio and Verdi's Otello. In addition to concert performances, Amanda has held various roles in musical theater, including the ensemble and understudy for "Kiss Me Kate" at The Marriott Theatre and performances in "Mary Poppins" at multiple venues. Amanda has also contributed to the arts as a Music Director for "Pirates of Penzance" and as an Assistant Music Director for "Matilda" and "Mamma Mia!" at Drury Lane Theatre. Amanda's commitment to the arts extends to their role as an Associate Teaching Artist, providing musical education to at-risk youth. Education includes a Master’s degree in Voice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University.
