Charlie Post

Charlie Post is a seasoned audio engineer with extensive experience in live sound engineering and recording, currently serving as an Audio Engineer for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since September 2014. In this role, Charlie is responsible for recording performances for archival purposes and radio broadcast, as well as collaborating with stagehands on audio setups. As the President and Recording Engineer at PostProductions Audio since 2006, Charlie focuses on concert recordings and live sound mixing, primarily in classical music. Previous roles include Chief Audio Engineer at Tanglewood for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Audio Engineer at IATSE Local 500, and various positions involving audio engineering and production at notable venues and organizations. Charlie's educational background includes a BS in Sound Recording Technology and Music Applied from the State University of New York at Fredonia, along with an AAS in Music Business from Schenectady County Community College.
