Kevin Hough

Field Representative at Chicago Teachers Union

Kevin Hough has over two decades of experience in education and union representation, currently serving as a Field Representative for the Chicago Teachers Union since 2009, where responsibilities include contract negotiations and grievance writing. Hough has held positions such as a committee member for the Political Action and Legislative Committee and has worked as a teacher, union delegate, and service learning coach at Roberto Clemente Community Academy, as well as a head debate coach and coordinator at Lincoln Park High School. Previous roles include commissioner on the McHenry County Historic Preservation Commission and volunteer editor for the McHenry County Historical Society. Educated at Illinois College with a BA in History/Political Science/Secondary Education, Hough also holds an MS in Public Service from DePaul University and completed a certificate in Mediation Skills Training from Northwestern University.
