Vin DeFina is a seasoned professional in the title insurance industry, currently serving as Senior VP and Counsel at Chicago Title Insurance Company since October 1993. With over twenty years of comprehensive experience in title insurance underwriting, service, claims, and sales across various property asset types, Vin specializes in the sales, pricing, and underwriting of commercial, industrial, and energy-related title insurance for real estate and mortgages throughout the United States. Previously, Vin held the position of EVP and General Counsel at Centrust Trust from September 1981 to April 1990, where responsibilities included negotiating and implementing the acquisition and sale of real estate assets worth $2 billion for Centrust Bank's subsidiary. Educational credentials include an LLM in Real Estate and Corporate from New York University School of Law, a JD from Brooklyn Law School, and a BA in Economics from City University of New York at Queens College.
