Sophia J. Kang

Sophia J. Kang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quantitative development and financial engineering at the Chicago Trading Company since July 2005. In the role of Senior Quant Developer, R&D Business Manager, and other positions, Sophia has focused on researching, designing, and implementing quantitative models for global equity trading while also developing and deploying applications. Additionally, Sophia co-founded GlamRock Events, serving as Partner and Event Consultant from March 2010 to March 2011. Educational credentials include an MBA in Marketing Strategy and Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business (2007-2010) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2001-2005), complemented by coursework at The Starter League in 2014.
