Paul Eisenberg has a diverse work experience in the field of journalism, communication, and wedding officiating. Paul started their career as an Entertainment Editor and business writer at The Daily Egyptian in 1993. Paul then worked as an Editor for South County Publications' Chatham Clarion from 1995 to 1997 and as a News Editor for Reporter-Progress Newspapers in Downers Grove in 1997. From 1998 to 2003, they held multiple roles at Sun-Times News Group, including Associate Features Editor and Special Assignment Reporter. In 2001, Paul Eisenberg started working as a non-denominational wedding officiant, offering customized ceremonies. Paul joined The Times of Northwest Indiana as an Assistant Night Editor in 2012 before transitioning to the role of News Editor - Daily Southtown, Post-Tribune at Chicago Tribune Media Group in 2016. Additionally, they have been a Freelance editor/writer at Eisenberg Communications since 2003.

Paul Eisenberg attended Marian Catholic High School from 1985 to 1989. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1989 to 1994, with a focus on print journalism.
