Stacey Wescott

Stacey Wescott has over 20 years of experience as a Visual Journalist and Staff Photographer at the Chicago Tribune Media Group. In these roles, they utilized still photography and video to create dynamic content, edited videos, and collaborated closely with reporters on assignments and projects. Stacey has received numerous national and local awards for their work. Stacey also served as the Photo Bureau Chief at the Chicago Tribune Newspaper. Additionally, they were an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago, where they designed and taught a photojournalism course covering various topics and skills. Before their career in journalism, Stacey helped found Home Alive, a non-profit self-defense collective, and served on its Board of Directors.
