Kristen Garcia

Kristen Garcia is an experienced professional currently serving as an ECE Policy Associate at Afton Partners since August 2023 and as a Chicago United for Equity Fellow since April 2023, contributing to efforts aimed at building equitable systems in Chicago. Previously, Kristen held positions as Project Manager and Program Coordinator at Illinois Action for Children from August 2021 to August 2023, and served as a COVID-19 Vaccine Ambassador at the Coalition of Spiritual and Public Leadership for a brief period in 2021. Kristen’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from Dominican University and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Triton College, along with a high school diploma from Fenton High School. Early career experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in a clinical psychology lab and a Business Development Coordinator at Rohrman Auto Group.
