Jincheng Eric Zhi

Co-founder & Co-chair - Lawyers Helping Our Community Legal Clinic at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services

Jincheng Eric Zhi is an accomplished legal professional and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University since August 2022. With a focus on community service, Jincheng co-founded and co-chairs the Lawyers Helping Our Community Legal Clinic under Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, providing pro bono support for Asian American communities. Since September 2018, Jincheng has worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis and previously held positions such as a PILI Fellow with the Lawyers' Committee for Better Housing and a Summer Associate at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks. An experienced academic, Jincheng has served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Toronto and Queen's University. Jincheng holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Toronto, complementing an extensive educational background that includes a Master's degree from Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree with High Distinction from the University of Toronto.
