Kyle Matze

Kyle Matze has extensive experience in education, mascot operations, and community relations. Currently serving as the Manager of Mascot Operations for the Chicago White Sox since February 2015, Kyle also holds roles in marketing and community relations within the organization. Prior experiences include positions as a Special Education Teacher at Dysart Unified School District and Newport Mesa Unified School District, as well as a substitute teacher at Long Beach Unified School District. Kyle was previously a mascot team member for the San Diego Padres and worked as a mentor with ClubXcite, focusing on academic and behavioral solutions. Educational credentials include a Master’s Education Specialist Credential with Autism Authorization from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Western Illinois University.
