Max Hanley

Max Hanley is an experienced analyst specializing in player acquisition and baseball operations, currently working with the Chicago White Sox since January 2024. Prior to this role, Max served as an Amateur/International Scouting Analytics Fellow with the Pittsburgh Pirates from February to December 2023 and completed a Hockey Analytics Internship with the St. Louis Blues from August 2022 to May 2023. Academic experience includes a position as a Teaching Assistant for Intro to Data Science at Washington University in St. Louis while earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Economics, from the same institution between 2019 and 2023. Max's work experience also encompasses mechanical and sales roles at Gerk's Ski & Cycle from June 2017 to January 2021.
